I can definitely emphasize with people not wanting to leave their homes. After all, in their minds the worst is over. Well, the storm is anyway.
I just can't imagine how they're gonna survive though. Right now it's a ghost city. Is the government really gonna keep giving them aid for the next six months if they refuse to leave? Keep in mind we are talking about the Bush adminestration here and the US has never been known for its social security system. Right now, I wouldn't even be surprised if they actually decide to keep those people holed up in the Astrodome for half a year... well until the next super bowl at least.
