God dammit! I just checked out the White Collar pilot. I liked the white collar pilot so I moved on to episode two. And then I realized the newly introduced sex bomb agent is there to replace the casually lesbian agent.

For the record. I'm not just pissed that they cut the gay/colored character (although I'm plenty pissed about that). I'm also pissed that they cut the professional female character who wasn't there just to flirt with the male lead.

Fuck you very much show.

Also what's the point of putting the witness in the dress? They needed her to ID him by his voice. Once they knew what he looked like they could have just gone with the Lady Fed.

"they" didn't do it, the actress was obligated to finish with another contract, which is why she is coming back to white collar for the second season...

As Anonymous said, she's coming back as a series regular in the second season. She (Marsha Thomason) was off on General Hospital briefly and seemingly had other contract obligations. I'm surprised they're bringing her back because usually when things like that happen you just never see them again. She must have made a good impression and I look forward to seeing her back. I loved her on Las Vegas.

New Lady Fed though I like. It's fun seeing Dubby from The Middle Man out and about... though I miss the dark hair. Alas... I hope you give the show a few more viewings, I think it's rather spiffy.

I guess I could give her a second chance now that I know she's not usurping the place of my favorite female character. I'm not sold on her yet though.

I was annoyed but apparently the actress for Diana had other shows to film? (Plus Cruz's show got cut so they gave her a role with the same company.)

Um, also, from the vantage point of the recent eps, really, Neal's there to flirt with Peter.
