God what is it with me and underwear lately.

I'm working on a full frontal Merlin nudity art piece.
Should I go for bush or a little roman style pair of undies (with the understanding that I'm a prude). I like the Roman angle, since I now firmly hold that Gwen is a descendant of a Roman centurion.

Well...it's actually well-attested that in the Roman period, women (and men) DID shave--or burn their hair off in that area with candle-flames, for hygenic reasons (re: ZOMG THE LICE THEY ARE EATING ME ALIVE)

Still, I would not want a Roman Wax job.

THIS WORTHLESS TRIVIA IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY CODY, WHO KNOWS WAY TOO DAMN MUCH.

This is the second best piece of trivia I've heard (the first being that they used to rape prostitutes to death in medieval times. Unconfirmed).

This one is confirmed--several textual sources actually talk about this.

(I did a research paper about Hetairai a few years back, which is how I know this)

Oh University why do you fail me so! Why the heck am I being subjected to snooze inducing lectures on the how and why of medieval schoolbooks, when there is this.

That's what I get for switching to the Christian Uni. *sigh*

*snerk* Sorry!

I admittedly chose the topic because of the humorous amount of titles I could come up with that were entertaining. I finally settled on "High Heels and High Fashion--Hetaira in the Hellenistic World"
