Fanart and New years resolutions.
Jan. 4th, 2009 07:28 pmMy new years resolution is to start given people fanart. So first up we have
sardonicsmiley with her awesome Through the noise of the sea, which combines my favorite character (Rodney Mckay) with my favorite trope (mermaids!). As a thank you for the many, many, many (to many if I'm entirely honest and that's another new years resolution right there) hours of distraction.

I promised myself a graphic tablet if I passed my exams... but er... I was weak, so I guess I'll know next week whether I earned this pretty. And in the meantime; WHO GIRLS!
My first go. I think I really started getting the hang of the pen possibilities by the time I got to Donna. She ended up a bit more realistic then the other two (maybe that just reflects that she's my favorite). I might do a color once I get the hang of that.

Some random ancient art
Dec. 21st, 2008 01:59 pmThis is ancient (I need to re-install illustrator). But since I seem to be signing up for Merlin Big Bang art. I guess some kind of demo is in order. Click on the image to see larger.

Oct. 30th, 2008 11:11 pmJust a doodle I did, practicing my mouse drawing (Man, I desperately want a draw pad or electronic pen or something. What's better?). Pic spoiler for S5 Brain Storm, which I er... corrected. I might do a coloring of this sometime, but the inspiration well has run dry for now.
The tease
( And the real deal behind the cut )
The tease

Aw shucks mom and dad.
Feb. 9th, 2007 05:06 pmCame home today and found out that my folks prominently hung the abstract painting thingy I did at a fair workshop a while back, next to their real art...
My sister: "I love the color sceme you chose."
Me: "Actually, those were the only colors they had."
My sister: "... "
Me: *considers what she just said. Kicks herself in the head*
I have friends in art school who haven't even made their parents wall and they framed it and everything! Aaaaw.
Why look. It's Doc who art!
Jul. 9th, 2006 12:12 amJust follow the fake cut. No spoilers or nakedness, but one suicide warning. Yikes!
This week the challenge was Watershed! *frowns**Looks at it from all angles**checks a dictionary* I don't get it....

Jun. 29th, 2006 07:55 pmAlright. So I felt a wee bit guilty about exploiting Rose like I did. So here she get's her own back!
About to pass out from hunger. That's all folks!

Jun. 29th, 2006 02:07 pmOh Man. Don't tell me LJ changed the button system again! Does anyone know how you post a picture without resorting to code!?!?!
Anyway. Here's my entry for this weeks challange in
500year_diary. A doc who fanart community.
Haven't bothered in a while, but the theme: Exploitation just screamed for a semi-pornographic entry and with material like Rose and the docs... well who could resist.
So follow the cut to:
Like I said, semi-pornographic and as such work sensitive.
