Now I admit, I'm easily hooked... or hard to turn off a show, whatever. (I watched almost the whole season of the Crow because I refused to just walk away. I was stabbing myself in the head with a fork, but I wasn't walking! Oh no). I've heard people complaining that Heroes is off to a slow start, but that's pretty much the norm for any show. All the excitement reaches its epoch in the season finale and then you have to start building suspense all over again. We've reached ep 4 and I'm pretty confident it'll get there.

So I'm still loving Heroes!
And this is why

Peter walks around scarcely dressed a lot (Just thought I'd get that one out of the way). Also loving the haircut. I will concede that the only reason the writers are pimping his lush little bod so much, is because he clearly has no plot worth watching at all! I mean, just LEAVE! What the hell is he doing hanging around those losers? Use your fricking powers!

Matt and Mo playing gay house for their fucked up little orphan girl. To cute for words. Also, Mo really only works well when he has someone to play off and Matt is doing quite well as Sylars replacement (It's odd though how it only seems to work with men...)

Matt finally has a decent plot... in fact he has the BEST plot! More busting chops and taking names (and conspiring behind his boss' back. Hee!) and less family drama, thank you very much. And he's from LA? WTF? I had no idea!

Maya and Alejandro. Yes, I am intrigued, though they should tone down the sobbing and powers out of control a bit. We get it already! But still not as dull as some of S1 b-plots. And of course now that they've brought Sylar into it... (who totally has that weird virus thing).

Sylar... need I say more. When that random Americano was all; "Killers! Oh noes!" And Sylar was just all, "Oh noes!" And don't mind me while I pick up this convenient half brick! WIN!

Micah's cousin! For a moment there I was afraid they'd cloned someone s powers AGAIN! (West is totally Nathan's illegitimate son btw, which is conveniently the only way they'll get me interested in that relationship). Cuz instant learning, didn't we already see that with Charlie. But the instant skills are so much cooler! You get your bum in front of a TV and you LEARN GIRL! Buy some karate demos!

Claire. Blah. Bennett! Whee! Talk to each other you big clandestine freaks!

I'm glad you're enjoying the show. I'm feeling really negative about it lately, but I'll spare you my whine, except to say that these writers have a lot of trouble writing women. Matt and Mohinder playing gay house is the highlight of the show for me!

Actually I think the show writers just really have trouble writing romance! Matt and the missus *yawn*. Mo and Eden *yawn* Claire and her illegitemate half brother *yawn, unless it turns out I'm right about that*.

The women are fine provided they're getting in on the action, rather then getting all the emotional stuff.

I do agree that the women are better when they are a part of the action. And perhaps I should just let this go. But, you have feminism in your interests list, so it's possible you'd like to read more about issues with Heroes--
