What the hell is an Islamic country going to do with an Orthodox Saint? Lock him up and throw him in the Bosphorous? That's seemingly all Turkey wants to do with it's Byzantine heritage, after all, considering it's attitude towards Patriarch Bartholomew.

Why the fuck should they care? It's not like he's important in Islamic history; I could see them doing this for relics of, say, Abraham, but this is fucking retarded.

From what I can tell the original tomb draws plenty of tourists and would draw even more if it actually had his bones in them. I guess it's easy money, compared to the countless pieces of World heritage Turkey has been neglecting, or flooding, or...
