We just had our dog put to sleep

korilianOur Jack Russel 'with randomly added genetics' terrier Joris just got put down.
He had been diabetic for most of the year, but had been doing moderately well until recently.
These past few weeks he had gone completely gone Deaf and Blind. He would constantly bump into everything.
He wasn't housebroken anymore. Could barely find his food and water, didn't want to walk anymore and would sleep all day.
He wasn't particularly in any pain, he just didn't have anything left to give.
He was part of our family for over 13 years.
Life sucks.
