Job interview in a sec, but first;
Nov. 8th, 2005 12:22 pmThe carnival was in town this weekend! It had two new rides including a Ferris wheel! (AN; the carnaval in my birth town hasn't changed a lick in twenty two years. So yes, two new rides are THAT exiting)
I grew up in a pretty part of the world, which implies a pretty view, which explains why I rode it six times and kept awing (also climbed a sightseeing tower in Germany the same weekend. Really LOVE that view!)
On days you could see all the way to the nuclear power plant in Germany! (hmmm. should I worry about that?)
At nights you could see a couple of lights about a hundred meters in all direction and then a all encompassing blackness! (AN: We're officially the darkest community in the Netherlands. And the safest! I imagine it's cuz people are afraid to go out after dark lest they break their neck)
Its a small town where everyone knows either you, your father, mother, brother, sister or neighbor. The whole weekend I happily listened to people going; "Did you go on the ferris wheel yet! You gotta! It's amazing!"
Small towns make their own fun! :)
