Spoof your baby (come on, it'll toughen him up)

There's recently been a plagiarism kerruffle going on, concerning liz_marcs story, revelations and two RPG-ers that came up with this truly ingenious and oh so original premise... Oh wait. I already mentioned the plagiarism thing didn't I.

Right. Let's just say it greatly resembled one of those badfics where you simply quote an entire script, but insert clever Character thoughts. Or possibly a dog. 

They didn't give credit.

Now (and please don't kill me for this, cuz I love 'Revelations. Am down with the plagiarism bad bandwagon and that they were way out of line) the two players, particularly in the beginning were taking a pretty goofy tone with this. And there might have been a line of two that tickled my giggle muscles.

Truth be told the whole thing reminded me ever so slightly of one of  othercat's comments on badfic thingies (Just the tone mind. So not calling you a plagiarist!).  

And it got me thinking on a MeMe. Or possibly a Fic-A-Thon?

Would you dare to put one of your babies. The award winning one, that you've poured hours of sweat and tears into to make it rub readers just the right way get completely and utterly spoofed?

I dare ya, to tag your author of choice to write you a scene.
