If you haven't been following John_farr. It's a SGA AU where all Earthlings have a mating cycle thanks to the Goa'uld. John is either: frigid, fucked up or both and Rodney is the SGC bicycle, because he hapens to be compatible with EVERYBODY and not having sex during your cycle can cause psychoses.
The chronological story so far is here (not entirely up to date, since its hard to keep up with the authors)

Timeline: This takes place right before Won’t let go We know why Elizabeth fought to get Rodney (possibly ;), but why did the SGC relent?
AN: I like Keller honestly. If she comes across a little callous it's because, in 'A Burning thing', she struck me as someone who's far to cheerful about the whole thing :).
