korilianSo my week was going great up to now... Let's start with the good part; Finally got to visit a friend who moved to one of my fave Dutch cities! Saw Harry Potter and the goblet of fire! Saw Serenity! Saw farscape Peacekeeper wars! Quit my horrid job! Celebrated Sinterklaas (kinda like Christmas, but less with the love your fellow man message) with the family! All my presents were absolute drab, but it's the though that counts anyways.
And then yesterday, I returned home to Amsterdam and took the first pill from my new meds...
The doc warned me that there would almost certainly be side effects (he quite omniously told me I should warn one of my housemates I was taking them!) and boy were there side effects.
So far we've had nausea, vomiting, tremors, a dry mouth and my personal favorite; HOT FLASHES!
It was such an itty bitty pill! Like the quarter of a standard aspirin! Thankfully I seem to have shaken them all pretty fast, but the thought that I have about three weeks of this to look forward to! *shudder*
