Okay so Lost was fun. *head desk* I'm too easily entertained.
Not as fun though as my moms birthday. This is because
Not as fun though as my moms birthday. This is because
my family's insane!
I lucked out with nieces and nephews who know no shame. Not even during those awkward teen years. Something which appeals to me, since I'm basically a big kid myself.
Every year we go to the same restaurant for my grandma's birthday and it has this huge playground! And every year, even though the majority of us is by now in our twenties, we spend the whole day running around like a bunch of lunatics, showering each other in the ball room (you know, the kind they have at MacDonalds), shoving each other of slides and around the trampolines. Having way more fun then the real kids are having.
No playground for moms party, but there was snow...
We went sledding! Haven't gone sledding in years! It was awesome!
I have a gigantic bruise on my butt, where I hit a branch. We kept pushing each other down the hill, trying to steer each other towards obstacles and the small river at the bottom! And I even went down with my little nephew.
My little nephew is by now 20, over two meters tall and all we had was a little, itsy bitsy sled...
I had to half stand, half sit on his knee. We went wicked fast and had the hardest time trying to avoid the trees. (My sister and niece didn't quite manage *heh*)
And then when we wanted to go home, our car got stuck in the snow and we spend ages pushing the damn thing and got showered with mud...
Maybe next time we can truly relive our youth and build a hut in the attic. I saw my nephew looking all wishful when we talked about it.

Hope winter lasts forever!
